If you know how to do it you buy the music/song and download it into your iPod or iPhone or some other devise or, perhaps, it becomes a permanent part of your iTunes music library and you listen to it often. If it becomes a favorite, then you can’t hear it enough.
We often are so thrilled and moved that we rush to tell someone else about our current favorite song. “You just gotta hear this.”
Yeah, songs move us. They cause us to think. They cause us to change. They cause us to act differently—to act better—hopefully.
As a radio announcer it was common to hear someone speak glowingly about a song that moved them. Tastes in songs differ, of course, but enthusiasm for a song is almost always the same. “Could you tell me how I can find the words to this song?”
Here’s what to do: 1) go to your favorite search engine (Google, Yahoo, Dogpile), 2) type in the artist’s name (Jeremy Camp, Francesca Battistelli, David Crowder Band) followed by the song title (Jesus Saves, Beautiful, Beautiful, How He Loves) 3) add the word lyrics, and 4) hit enter/go/search.
Sometimes you will be able to listen to the song as you’re reading the words. Another option is to go to the artist’s website. Or, check and see if the song is available on You Tube. Enjoy!
